The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video showing the destruction of the Osa surface-to-air missile system of the russian occupation forces. This enemy air defense missile system was discovered in the Southern direction by operators of a reconnaissance UAV from the 73rd Maritime Special Operations Center of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Despite the poor visibility, [the UAV's crew] detected the Osa SAM system that used by enemy against Ukrainian troops," the Command of Ukraine’s SSO notes.

The scouts got the coordinates of the enemy target and sent them to the missile and artillery unit of the Ukrainian army. The HIMARS system was used to defeat the detected russian surface-to-air missile system.
"As a result of the fire attack, the enemy's air defense missile system was completely destroyed," the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claims.
According to data published on the Oryx portal, during the period from the beginning of the large-scale invasion to Ukraine, the invaders lost a total of 19 of their Osa air defense systems. This number is confirmed by the corresponding photos and videos that spread on the network.
Earlier, a video illustrating the operation of the HIMARS missile system was published by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "The HIMARS MLRS effectively destroys the equipment and manpower of the enemy along the entire front line. Crews are constantly on the lookout, as soon as an enemy target appears - it only takes a few minutes to load and move to the firing position," - noted in Ukraine’s the Ground Forces.
