Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this on his official Telegram account.
"The EU will provide Ukraine with 2 billion euros worth of ammunition. EU member states will already send 1 billion euros worth of ammunition from their warehouses. The European Union will allocate another 1 billion euros for their joint further purchases for Ukraine," Denys Shmyhal wrote in Telegram.

He also added that "Europe is increasing the production capacity of ammunition, and 1 billion euros will be mobilized for this as well."
"All this will bring our victory and peace in Europe closer. We are grateful to the European Commission for its active work, fair position and solidarity with Ukraine," the Prime Minister of Ukraine wrote.
