The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved domestically developed TERMIT UGV for military use across various roles

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified and approved the use of domestically developed TERMIT unmanned ground system for deployment in the Armed Forces. The announcement was made by the Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

The TERMIT is a tracked robotic platform designed for a variety of battlefield roles. The current variant represents a new version of the system, building on the performance of earlier models that are already in use at the front. Previous versions of the TERMIT system have been employed primarily for logistics and surveillance missions.

One of TERMIT sysyem's key advantages is its modularity. In addition to logistical and reconnaissance functions, the system can be equipped with combat modules, depending on operational needs. The new version features improved dynamic performance and retains flexibility for further upgrades.

The platform is capable of transporting up to 300 kilograms of payload. Its low profile, tracked chassis, and low center of gravity make it suitable for operating across a variety of terrains, including rough ground, steep slopes, trenches, and areas with significant obstacles.

Powered by a battery system, the TERMIT system can operate for several continuous hours. During that time, it can cover tens of kilometers, depending on the terrain and configuration. This endurance makes it a viable option for extended missions without frequent recharging.

The TERMIT UGV is produced in multiple configurations tailored to specific tasks. These include variants for medical evacuation, supply transport, route clearance or mining, and delivery of additional equipment to frontline positions.

As Defense Express previously reported, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified and approved the SHABLIA MK19(M) remote-controlled combat module for operational use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The announcement was made by the Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

The SHABLIA MK19(M) system is designed to deliver sustained fire using a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. Its primary function is to engage enemy personnel and light armored targets at both short and extended ranges, offering battlefield units increased flexibility and lethality.
