According to Stupun, the activity of the enemy's aviation and artillery is is decreasing. "In the Shakhtarske sector, the enemy is on the defensive, no offensive actions were recorded. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, our defenders repelled the enemy's attack north of Novoprokopivka. "Artillery and rocket forces performed 795 fire missions in the past day. The enemy’s total losses, unfortunately, decreased to 147 people. 6 units of military equipment were destroyed, including 2 tanks, 3 AFVs and 1 artillery system," the spokesman said.
In addition, according to the representative of the Defense Forces of the Tavria sector, Ukrainian military destroyed 3 ammunition warehouses of different levels.
Oleksandr Shtupun also explained that the decrease in enemy personnel losses is due to the change in weather conditions, which complicates the work of drones and artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Commenting on the situation around Novoprokopivka, the spokesman explained that Ukrainian troops are being strengthened and preparing for further advance. He also reported that more than 30 occupiers surrendered over the past week as well as one russian POW was captured over the past day.
