This attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the enemy airfield, where Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters are based, as well as transport helicopters, has already been called in the russian federation as "the most serious of all time"

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a series of long-range strikes against the front-line airfields of the russian Army Air Force in the area of temporarily occupied Berdyansk and Luhansk.

The Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (StratCom) said this in a statement on Telegram.

The distance to these objects from the current front line is about 95 km (60 miles) and 85 km (52 miles), respectively. Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters are based at both airfields, and Mi-24/35 helicopters and Mi-8/17 transport helicopters were also spotted there.

There is only one mention of a possible long-range strike in the current situation update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: "The Ukrainian missile troops hit 2x helicopters at their landing sites, 1x ammunition depot, and 1x artillery system of the russian invaders."

It should be noted that now a real howl is being heard from a "russian swamps". For example, the blogger FighterBomber wrote about only one strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but called it "one of the most serious of all time, if not the most serious." This has little correlation with the report of two affected helicopters. Some other russian "military blogger" leave messages in the style of "morning is not good, all comments later".

The most significant thing is that a number of russian commentators say that the strikes were allegedly carried out by ATACMS missiles, although the range of damage to both objects is within the range of the missile weapons already available in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Also, a video, which is positioned as having been shot on the night from Monday to Tuesday in Berdyansk, is already circulating on the Internet. We should note that the helipad in this city is extremely actively used by the enemy and is not the first time it has become the object of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For example, on June 30, a powerful series of explosions rang out on the territory of this airfield, but the target was not the helicopters, but the headquarters and fuel and lubricant warehouse.

But if we are talking about the fact that one of the strikes was so effective that it caused a very loud howl in the marshes, then this time it may well be about causing the enemy quite significant losses, both in manpower and in the helicopters themselves.
