The Defense Intelligence's Active Operations Department demonstrates multi-domain battlefield tactics on the Zaporizhzhia and Lyman fronts

The Department of Active Operations of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine has released new footage demonstrating the coordinated use of FPV drones, heavy machine gunners, and ground robotic systems on the Zaporizhzhia and Lyman fronts. The video, published by the Defense Intelligence, highlights how Ukrainian forces are integrating manned and unmanned systems to maintain tactical advantage against russian troops.

The footage shows FPV drone operators striking russian infantry and vehicles with precision, often hitting concealed positions and equipment deep behind enemy lines. These operators have become one of the most adaptive components of Ukraine's modern battlefield tactics, combining speed, precision, and flexibility in targeting high-value threats.

In addition to aerial operations, a heavy machine gunner operating the Browning M2 gun mounted on an armored vehicle is seen engaging russian infantry positions hidden within tree lines.

Another segment of the video captures the work of Ukraine's aerial bombers, employing heavy munitions to destroy russian fortifications and shelters. Their surgical precision, as described by the Defense Intelligence, underscores the growing professionalism and coordination among Ukraine's strike teams.

The footage shows targeted bomb drops against entrenched russian positions, leaving visible destruction in the aftermath.

Of particular note are the ground robotic systems featured in the report, a relatively new but increasingly vital element in Ukraine's frontline logistics. These remotely operated platforms assist in the delivery of supplies, evacuation of the wounded, and even limited combat support roles. Their use reflects Ukraine's shift toward high-tech solutions aimed at reducing risks to personnel and improving operational efficiency.

The combination of drone warfare, heavy weapons, and robotic logistics represents a glimpse into the evolution of Ukraine's battlefield doctrine. By merging human skill with unmanned systems, the Defense Intelligence seeks to multiply the effectiveness of smaller units while conserving manpower amid high-intensity operations.

As Defense Express previously reported, fighters from Ukraine's Phoenix border guard unit continue to destroy russian equipment, logistics assets, and personnel in the area of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. The unit released footage of its latest combat operations, showing precise drone strikes against enemy positions and vehicles.
