Ukrainian forces reported overnight strikes against a fuel depot in Bryansk region, ammunition storage sites in temporarily occupied territories, and russian military communications infrastructure

During the night of May 25, 2026, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of strikes against russian military logistics and ammunition infrastructure, targeting facilities both inside russia and in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

According to the General Staff, one of the primary targets was the Belets oil depot located near Unecha in russia's Bryansk region. The facility was involved in supplying fuel to russian occupation forces participating in the war against Ukraine.

The full extent of the damage to the oil depot is still being assessed, but strikes on fuel infrastructure have become a recurring element of Ukraine's strategy aimed at disrupting russian logistics chains supporting frontline operations.

In addition to the fuel facility, Ukrainian forces reportedly struck several ammunition storage sites. Among them was an ammunition depot near Mizhirya in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as another storage site in the area of Novoianysol in Donetsk region.

A separate field artillery ammunition depot near Kremenivka in Donetsk region was also reportedly hit. Such frontline storage sites are particularly important for sustaining artillery-intensive operations, which remain a central feature of russian battlefield tactics.

The General Staff further reported the destruction of a logistics and materiel storage facility near Dokuchaievsk in Donetsk region. Ukrainian forces also targeted a communications node used by russian occupation troops in Ivanivka and an artillery command platoon position near Troitske in Zaporizhzhia region.

As Defense Express previously reported, operators of Ukraine's Chornyi Lis 15th Brigade have reportedly detected and destroyed russian 5N63S radar station, a critical component of the country's long-range air defense network.
