russian air defense infrastructure was also heavily targeted. Ukrainian forces struck eight radar systems, an S-400 air defense battalion position near Gelendzhik, and several other surface-to-air missile systems.

According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, 11 of the 14 targets were located in russia’s Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai, while the remaining three were in occupied Crimea.
The reported targets included:
- a Su-33 fighter jet in Vityazevo, Krasnodar Krai;
- a MiG-29 fighter jet in Vityazevo, Krasnodar Krai;
- an Orion strike and reconnaissance UAV in Vityazevo, Krasnodar Krai;
- a Tor surface-to-air missile system near Pudovyi, Rostov region;
- a Nebo-U radar system near Dolotinka, Rostov region;
- a Nebo-U radar system in Sevastopol, occupied Crimea;
- a Kasta-2E2 radar system near Latonovo, Rostov region;
- a Podlyot radar system near Prigibskiy, Krasnodar Krai;
- a 36D6M radar system near Uyutne, occupied Crimea;
- a Kasta-2E2 radar system near Shabelskoye, Krasnodar Krai;

- an ST-68 radar system in Yevpatoria, occupied Crimea;
- a Podlyot radar system near Golovatovka, Rostov region.
The scale of the reported operation is notable because it combined strikes against russian aviation with a broad effort to suppress or damage air defense infrastructure. Radars are particularly important targets, as their destruction can create gaps in russia’s air defense coverage and complicate the detection of subsequent Ukrainian drone and missile attacks.
As previously reported, Ukrainian Defense Forces also conducted a series of strikes against russian military targets on August 22 and overnight into August 23.
In Chornomorske, occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck a launch and storage site used for unmanned surface vessels. A ground-based relay station used to control Geran and Gerbera attack drones was also reportedly hit. Another confirmed target was an ST-68 radar station in Yevpatoria.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian drones also reached russia's Orenburg region, where they reportedly struck a large OZON warehouse overnight, causing a fire.
