Ukrainian drone forces launched one of their largest deep-strike missions yet, hitting 47 military targets, including S-400 systems, fuel tankers, and a strategic radar

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces carried out one of their most extensive long-range operations to date, striking 47 military targets deep behind russian lines during the night of July 6. The operation was announced by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Major Robert Madyar Brovdi, who described it as a coordinated effort against critical military infrastructure supporting russia's war effort.

Among the highest-value targets were two fuel tankers operating in the Sea of Azov. According to Robert Brovdi, the vessels were transporting fuel from the Taganrog area to Crimea, serving as an important maritime logistics route for russian forces. Each tanker was reportedly carrying around 7,000 tons of fuel, roughly equivalent to the capacity of 200 railway tank cars.

Ukrainian drones also struck a fuel storage facility in Kerch, further intensifying pressure on russia's supply infrastructure in Crimea. Fuel depots have become frequent targets because they play a critical role in sustaining aviation, ground forces, and naval operations on the peninsula.

Another significant target was the Nebo-U long-range radar station located near Kerch. Systems such as the Nebo-U form part of russia's integrated air defense network, providing early warning and target detection over large areas.

The operation also targeted two S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile systems. One was struck near Hlazivka in Crimea, while the second was hit near Kosenki in russia's Bryansk region. Ukrainian officials say the systems had been used not only for air defense but also to launch missiles against ground targets during large-scale attacks on Ukrainian cities.
