Long-range assets manufactured in Ukraine, including FP-5 Flamingo missiles, were used in the attacks.

The General Staff noted that as a result of the attacks, several buildings sustained varying degrees of damage. One of the hangars was severely damaged, and some russian personnel were evacuated from the training ground.

It should be noted that russians have already used the Oreshnik missile, launched from Kapustiny Yar, twice against Ukraine. The first time was in November 2024, when russians attacked the city of Dnipro. The second launch of the missile took place in January this year and targeted Ukraine's Lviv region. In both cases, Oreshnik did not cause significant damage to targets in Ukraine.

Earlier Defense Express reported that russia's Kalashnikov Concern would unveil Rus-PE loitering munition at World Defense Show 2026.
