Ukrainian forces struck russian Yastreb counter-battery radar station near Novoselovko while also targeting logistics and repair facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea and Kherson region

Ukrainian forces continue their campaign aimed at degrading russia's military capabilities not only along the front line, but also in border regions and temporarily occupied territories that support combat operations against Ukraine.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces carried out several successful strikes on russian military infrastructure on Thursday, targeting assets tied to reconnaissance, logistics, and equipment maintenance.

One of the key targets was the Yastreb counter-battery radar station located near Novoselovko in russia's Belgorod region. Systems of this class are used to detect incoming artillery fire and identify firing positions, allowing russian forces to conduct rapid counter-battery strikes against Ukrainian artillery units.

The destruction of such a radar significantly reduces the enemy's ability to track artillery launches and coordinate retaliatory fire. Counter-battery radars have become increasingly important in the war as both sides rely heavily on long-range artillery and precision-guided strikes.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces reportedly struck a logistics warehouse in Perevalne in temporarily occupied Crimea. The facility was believed to store material and technical supplies intended to support russian military operations in the south of Ukraine and on the peninsula itself.

Another strike targeted a russian repair unit operating in temporarily occupied parts of Kherson region. Repair and maintenance elements play a crucial role in sustaining combat operations, as they are responsible for restoring damaged armored vehicles, artillery systems, and other military equipment close to the front line.
