British forces continue overnight operations across Cyprus, Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain, with a full-spectrum deployment including jets, helicopters, warships, radars, and counter-drone systems

UK Typhoon jets, together with Wildcat helicopters, have continued their defensive missions over Cyprus, Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain overnight. Defensive flights over the region have now been underway for five weeks, the UK Ministry of Defence reports.

Assets already pre-deployed to the region included F35 and Typhoon jets, counter drone teams, radars and air defense to protect UK personnel, interests and partners. This is in addition to assets deployed under pre-existing activities.

In the past weeks they have been joined by HMS Dragon, additional F-35 jets, additional Typhoons, Wildcat helicopters, Merlin helicopters, the Crowsnest Airborne Surveillance and Control (ASC) system together with additional air defense capabilities and personnel.

Force protection measures continue to be at the highest levels, ensuring UK personnel remain as safe as possible.

As Defense Express previously reported, British gunners destroyed several Iranian drones in a high-threat zone overnight, supported by ongoing air patrols from Typhoon and F-35 jets, and Wildcat helicopters across five Middle Eastern locations.
