British fighter jets continued overnight defensive missions while a ground-based unit successfully intercepted an Iranian UAV in a high-threat area

Royal Air Force Typhoons and F-35 jets continued their defensive missions overnight, including over Cyprus, Jordan, Qatar, and Bahrain, according to the UK Defense Intelligence.

A UK ground-based counter-drone unit, operating in a high-threat area, successfully downed an Iranian drone overnight.

Force protection measures in the region continue to be at the highest levels, ensuring UK personnel are as safe as possible. UK is also working closely in coordination with allies.

As Defense Express previously reported, British forces are at peak readiness, with expanded air patrols, increased personnel, and coordination with allies across the region.
