The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine posted a video of a night attack on Kyiv region on May 8, 2023. Russia used 35 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. At leat 30 drones were downed over Kyiv, injuring five people and causing a damage to buildings and property. All of them were destroyed.

"On this Day of Remembrance &Victory over Nazism in WWII, today’s Nazis - ruscists - are destroying peaceful cities. The empire of which they dream will fade into obscurity. Just like its predecessors," the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine wrote on Twitter.
