Russian Su-25 jet aircraft fell in Belgorod region (russia) on February 23, 2023. The Defense Ministry of the russian federation denies any involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The russian Ministry of Defense states that the aircraft had been going back from the mission and fell because of the technical issues in a deserted area.

The photo shows the area where the aircraft crashed with a house on the background, as there are a chimney and a satellite dish.
Moreover, it fell on the territory of Valuyskiy district, near the border with Ukraine, according to the local authority. So the Armed Forces of Ukraine are probably involved, as the statements of the russian Ministry of Defense do not correspond to reality.
Should be noted that, initially, it was stated that the pilot managed to eject but then he was declared dead. The K-36L ejection seat, which is used in the Su-25 jet aircraft, is supposed to provide emergency escape on a zero altitude and a zero speed.
There were 299 russian aircraft downed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of February 23, 2023, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It seems like russian Su-25 jet aircraft will be an anniversary piece.
