The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has published the following statistics: since the beginning of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, the specialists of the service have neutralized almost 310,000 munitions.
Thus, starting from February 24, 2022, 769.5 square kilometers were checked and cleaned (or 76,950 hectares), on which 309,248 explosive objects were defused, including 2,156 aerial bombs. More than 40,000 specialists were involved in the work.

During 22.12.22, the statistics states the following: 0.3 square kilometers were examined and cleaned (34 hectares), where one aerial bomb and 593 units of other dangerous objects were neutralized. The works were carried out by 97 specialists.
Overall, according to the State Emergency Service, there are currently 174,000 square kilometers left in Ukraine of potentially dangerous territories, which is 30% of the total territory of Ukraine.
As the spokesman of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Khorunzhy, told in an interview with "UNIAN", the most difficult situation with demining (talking about de-occupied territories) is in Kharkiv Oblast: since September, about 1,600 hectares have been neutralized, where more than 50,000 explosive objects have been found.
