The enemy's attack was repulsed. Shkval successfully completed training according to NATO standards

The enemy's offensive was stopped and repulsed by a counterattack, and the position along the state border was restored.

Servicemen of the Shkval Rapid Reaction Border Command completed training under the Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine (JMTG-U) program, which was held at the International Centre for Peacekeeping and Security of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.

The final stage of the brigade tactical exercises lasted from 22th to 25th December.

Shkval Rapid Reaction Border Command, Defense Express

According to the exercises, the Rapid Reaction Border Command performed tasks in two stages.

At the first stage, the soldiers of the border commandant's office provided security for the brigade's rear area and performed tasks on the borders of military barriers. At the second stage, the brigade's rear area was guarded and the state border was covered.

The final stage was the acceptance of the state border of Ukraine from the brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the operational subordination of the company and tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Border guards demonstrated the coherence of units and the ability to perform their tasks according to NATO standards.

Instructors from the JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine) and the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre assessed the border unit as “ready” to perform its assigned tasks.
