The main training centre for personnel of the State Border Guard Service named after Major General Ihor Momot purchased four unmanned aerial vehicles “DJI Matrice 200 V2”.
Modern models of aircraft are delivered to the Main Centre together with the accompanying auxiliary equipment.

DJI Matrice 200 V2 is a modern means of detecting and recognizing stationary and moving objects and targets. Powerful optoelectronic surveillance systems - day surveillance cameras with 30 times magnification and thermal images, allow you to perform aerial monitoring tasks effectively by day and night.
According to the terms of the agreement, the representatives of the company “U.A.V. Distribution” - the winner of the open bidding, have conducted the training of the operators to operate Ukrainian unmanned aviation complex. Training of the border guards to use the new Ukrainian unmanned aviation complexes will be held on the basis of the Centre with the use and operation of unmanned aerial systems of the Main Centre. During the mastering of the unmanned aerial aircraft, future operators will gain knowledge of regulations, will have the opportunity to study the use of Ukrainian airspace. And during the training and control flights they will gain practical skills and the necessary level of skills in conducting air monitoring with the latest models of unmanned aerial vehicles.
It should be noted that such drones are already actively used in the protection of the State Border. Currently, the “iron birds” have made almost 1.7 thousand flights, and surveyed almost 10 thousand km of the border. Thanks to them, it was possible to detect and detain a dozen of violators of border legislation, two rubber boats, as well as a drone of smugglers, which was used to smuggle cigarettes.
