On March 23, 2024, in temporarily occupied Crimea, there was a successful missile strike on targets belonging to russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
Specifically, the 13th Ship Repair Plant in Sevastopol, part of the russian Black Sea Fleet, was targeted. Among the vessels at this location was russian Yamal large landing ship.

According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the damage inflicted on the Yamal ship is severe: a breach in the upper deck has caused the ship to tilt to the right.
The russians are continuously pumping water from the damaged vessel, which had been involved in the annexation of Crimea and was undergoing repairs from 2017 to 2023.
Further details regarding the losses suffered by the aggressor as a result of the missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on military targets are currently being clarified.
