The Commander of Ukraine’s Ground Forces Says Defense Forces Continue to Move Forward In Bakhmut Direction

The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced that Ukrainian soldiers continue to advance on the flanks in the Bakhmut direction. Although the occupiers are attempting to halt the advancement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they are gradually being pushed out of their positions.

The Commander of Ukraine’s Ground Forces who also is Commander of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi wrote this on Telegram: "Bakhmut direction. Work lasts 24/7. The defense forces continue to move forward on the flanks, the enemy is gradually knocked out of position, although it is trying to stop the advance of our soldiers with the help of additional reserves. This is an example of the night work of snipers of the Special Operations Forces".

The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also published a video showcasing the work of Ukrainian soldiers.

Oleksandr Syrskyi pointed out that the enemy's live force is being successfully destroyed.

Colonel-General and Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi commanded the operation to defend Kyiv and the Kyiv region. He also commanded the successful Kharkiv counteroffensive. Now Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi also is Commander of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping acting on the East of Ukraine and is in charge of Bakhmut direction (including).
