On the night of October 30, 2023, russia attacked Ukraine using 12 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and 2 Kh-59 guided aviation missiles, the Air Force Command of Ukraine reports.
The Kh-59 missiles were launched from russian aircraft in the airspace over the Zaporizhzhia region, while the Shahed drones flew from a southeastern direction, originating from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, russia.

All 14 enemy air targets were destroyed by the air defense, particularly within the territories of Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The defense against this aerial assault involved the engagement of fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops and mobile fire units belonging to the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
