Operators of the unmanned systems battalion of the 61st Mechanized Brigade successfully thwarted russian attempt to sever one of Ukraine’s vital logistical routes.
On January 24, the brigade published a video showcasing the combat operation. According to the report, russian unit attempted to assault Ukrainian positions to disrupt supply lines and isolate a portion of Ukrainian forces.

Before the enemy could reach their objective, Ukrainian drones targeted them mid-march, inflicting significant losses. Despite this setback, the russians persisted in their assault, forcing Ukrainian infantry to engage in close combat.
“Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our units, the enemy was met with a strong response and retreated without achieving their objectives. The fight continues!” the brigade commented on the video.
This operation highlights the effective integration of drone technology and infantry tactics in countering russian aggression.
