On Tuesday, August 6, the monitoring group of Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported about a severe fire with subsequent detonation of ammunition of at the Oktiabrske military air base in temporarily occupied Crimea. It is known that this air base is located near the settlements of Zvizdne and Lenins'ke.

On Thursday, August 8, Crimean Wind released satellite images showing the aftermath of the fire at the Oktiabrske air base.

It should be noted that according to the Crimean Wind explosions and detonation at the airfield lasted several hours, the fire was extinguished only by morning. russian authorities blocked rail and road traffic without giving reasons. It is also known of the fire at the depots at the temporary deployment site of the 104th Airborne Division of the russian Armed Forces, but the reason is still unknown.
