Satellite images show the aftermath of May 31 missile strikes on port Kavkaz, which made it much more difficult to supply weapons to russian troops

It is known that the oil depot of port Kavkaz in Krasnodar Krai provides fuel for russian occupation troops in the South of Ukraine. This port is the second in terms of cargo turnover in the Azov-Black Sea basin after Novorossiysk one.

Ukrainian military managed to partially destroy this oil terminal with eight RK-360MT Neptun cruise missiles, which is located on the territory of the port Kavkaz in Kerch in temporarily occupied Crimea. This is reported by the Schemes.

In addition, satellite images show that large vessels have disappeared from the water area of the port, which is the second large in the Azov-Black Sea basin. It is also the fifth in the russian federation in terms of cargo turnover.

The Krym.Realii project notes that the oil depot in port Kavkaz supplies fuel to Crimea, as well as certain areas of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Oblasts that are occupied by russia.

It is also noted that in addition to hitting an oil depot, the disabling of a ferry crossing as a result of a missile strike on the port of Kerch the previous day could significantly complicate logistics for russian troops on the southern fronts.
