The terrorist-state russia launched a three-and-a-half hour drone attack on the southern parts of the Odesa region early on Sunday, hitting Danube River port infrastructure and injuring at least two people.
The South operational command said on social media at least two civilians were injured in the attack on what it said was the “civil infrastructure of the Danube”.

The information was also shared by Spokesperson for the South Volunteer Army, Head of the Public Council at Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhii Bratchuk on Telegram.
“Unfortunately, port-adjacent infrastructure was hit. As a result, a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters,” Bratchuk wrote.
According to the preliminary data, two people were injured. They were provided with medical aid.
The 25 Shahed-136/131 suicide drones were launched by russia in several waves of drone attack from Chauda Cape in the temporarily occupied Crimea as well as from russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar region. Twenty-two enemy drones were destroyed by Ukraine’s Defense Forces. As the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states, twenty-two enemy drones were downed by the Air Force’s units in cooperation with other elements of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Befor the attack, on Saturday, Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed an enemy Mohajer-6 strike and reconnaissance UAV in Odesa region. The Air Command South reported this on Facebook.
"On September 2, 2023, the air defense forces and means of the Air Command South destroyed a Mohajer-6 reconnaissance and strike UAV in Odesa region,” the command said.
