The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has shown an episode of the destruction of three vehicles belonging to the Buk surface-to-air missile system, including the destruction of the 9С18 Kupol target acquisition system.
It is noted that the attack was carried out by the intelligence officers of the Defense Intelligence in cooperation with the Omega special forces unit in the area of temporarily occupied Svatove in the Luhansk region.

The video shows the damage inflicted on the 9С18 Kupol target acquisition system, the 9К37 launcher loader vehicle and the 9А310 fire control vehicle.
It is also noteworthy that the drone is capable of autonomously tracking a target and has a thermal imaging camera. This indicates that it is a relatively sophisticated model. In this context, it is entirely possible that the Switchblade or similar UAV has been used.
Furthermore, kamikaze drones are proving to be game-changers on the battlefield because, in the past, engaging such targets would have required the use of long-range precision munitions or conducting an aerial mission with missiles. However, these tasks can now be accomplished at a much lower tactical level.
