The appeal was published on the Telegram channel Legion of Freedom of Russia.
"The whole world has been watching for several days as the russian city of Belgorod, along with the Belgorod and Kursk regions, becomes a zone of active hostilities. Despite our repeated appeals, the administration appointed by vladimir putin is obstructing the evacuation of civilians," the statement reads.

Russian volunteers have highlighted that fighting has been ongoing for several days in the border regions of the russian federation. However, the kremlin is attempting to obstruct the evacuation of residents, particularly to avoid tarnishing the image of the pseudo-election process.
"We urge you to halt this circus, consider the fate of russians, and permit the evacuation of civilians from the war zone. Your elections have long since turned into a complete farce. Cease compelling ordinary people to participate in your performance at the polling stations amidst bombs and artillery fire," the RVC, FRL, and Siberian Battalion stated.
Russian volunteers emphasized that putin has long lost his legitimacy, and "under the current circumstances, even the semblance of an electoral process has vanished." They believe that it is evident to everyone that russia needs urgent and profound changes.
The soldiers also noted that in russia, "the need for a profound transformation of the relationship between the authorities and the people has long been ripe." They believe that an open conversation "about new fair social rules" is necessary.

As previously reported by Defense Express, Units of the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion Tuesday morning, March 12, crossed the Ukrainian-russian border and entered the territory of the Graivoron district of the Belgorod region, as well as the territory of the Kursk region of the russian federation.
On March 15, Russian volunteers issued an urgent message announcing a massive attack on military targets in the city of Belgorod and Kursk. Residents of the mentioned cities were called to evacuate.
On March 16, fighters of the Freedom of Russia Legion and the Siberian Battalion reiterated their intention to launch a massive attack on military targets in Belgorod and once again urged locals to seek shelter.
