This is stated in a joint statement by the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion.
"We are addressing our fellow citizens: residents of the city of Belgorod, officials of the Belgorod administration and all those who can hear us. putin's murderers are unleashing large-scale assaults on peaceful Ukrainian cities, setting up their positions between your homes, your children's schools, and government buildings. Every day, dozens of ordinary people (mostly women and children) are killed in attacks from Belgorod. The bombardment of Ukraine from the territory of Belgorod must cease immediately!" the statement reads.

"In this regard, we are forced to inflict a strike on the military positions located in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk. To prevent civilian casualties, we strongly encourage immediate evacuation of the cities. We urge the local authorities to save people's lives and start evacuating the cities of Kursk and Belgorod," the statement continues.
As previously reported by Defense Express, Units of the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) and the Siberian Battalion Tuesday morning, March 12, crossed the Ukrainian-russian border and entered the territory of the Graivoron district of the Belgorod region, as well as the territory of the Kursk region of the russian federation.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, highlighted that Russian volunteer units operating within the russian federation function as "independent structures and organizations."
