Units from the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense have uncovered evidence of russians deploying kamikaze drones above the nuclear reactors of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is under russian control. Through radio electronic reconnaissance, video footage from the russian FPV drone was obtained, revealing the marking UT4D.TT, indicating that the drone was supplied to the occupiers by the Ministry of Defense of russia.
The flight trajectory of russian drone extends over the reactor blocks of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant toward Ukrainian Nikopol and Marhanetska communities, which are consistently targeted by enemy assaults.

Andrii Cherniak, the representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, highlighted that the russians are leveraging the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant’s territory for launching drones. They exploit the fact that Ukrainian forces are prohibited from engaging targets within a 1.5-kilometer radius around the station.
The occupiers have established launch sites for their UAVs near the sixth reactor of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Additionally, since the summer of 2023, russia have been utilizing the captured nuclear power plant’s grounds to train FPV drone pilots at the Archangel school, which is funded by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of russia (formerly known as the GRU).
