The occupiers managed to increase their stocks of Iskander, Kalibr and Kinzhal missiles compared to how many missiles they had at the beginning of this year

russia has increased the stockpile of its long-range missiles, which it uses for terrorist attacks on Ukraine compared to the beginning of this year - this conclusion can be drawn from the words of the Deputy Chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi.

So, as of now, the russian federation has at least 585 long-range missiles (with a range of 500 km and more) in stock, excluding the Kh-22 missiles. Such data was reported by Skibitsky in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine.

According to intelligence data, the stockpile of occupiers long-range missiles now include:

• 270 Iskander ballistic and cruise missiles;

• 140 Kalibr cruise missiles;

• about 100 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles as well as Kh-55 cruise missiles with a warhead;

• approximately 75 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.

With data on the number of russian missiles as of the beginning of this year, we can see how the russians managed to accumulate missiles compared to the beginning of January 2023.

As of late August, 2023 the russians managed to accumulate missiles compared to the beginning of January 2023

In particular, on almost all counts, the russians, unfortunately, managed to increase the number of missiles they have in stock:

• the number of Iskander missiles (cruise and ballistic) increased from 144 units at the beginning of January to 270 at the end of August (by 126 units);

• Kalibr missiles – from 59 to 140 (by 81 units);

• Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kh-55 missiles – decreased from 118 to 100 (by 18 units);

• Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles – increased from 53 to 75 (by 22 units).

Thus, the total number of stocks of russian long-range missiles increased from 374 missiles to 585, or by 211 units. The occupiers will use these missiles (with a high probability) primarily for further terrorist attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in the fall and winter, as was the case at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023.

As Defense Express reported, New Ukrainian Missile was Used for the Strike on russia’s S-400 SAM System in Occupied Crimea. We also wrote, thatUkraine Hopes to Get Long-range Missiles, SAM Systems from France While the Country Triple Production and Delivery Pace.
