Ukraine neutralized 44 aerial targets

During the early hours of February 7, 2024, russia initiated multiple strikes within the borders of Ukraine, employing a variety of aerial assault weapons including UAVs, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and surface-to-air missiles.

A total of 64 weapons were deployed:

  • 20 Shahed-136/131 UAVs from Chauda, Crimea;
  • 29 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from 10 Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft with launch area in Engels, Caspian Sea.
  • 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles from the Tu-22M3 bombers from Sevastopol, Kursk;
  • 3 Kalibr cruise missiles from carriers in the Black Sea with launch area in Novorossiysk;
  • 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Tarhankut Cape, Crimea and Voronezh region, russia;
  • 5 S-300 surface-to-air missiles with launch area in Belgorod region, russia.

Through the combined efforts of the Air Force and Armed Forces 44 aerial targets were neutralized:

  • 26 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles;
  • 3 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 15 Shahed-136/131 UAVs.
