Fighters of the Chornyi Lis Brigade recently scored a significant tactical victory by destroying a self-propelled launcher of russian Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system.
According to a post on the Brigade's page, Ukrainian troops detected the enemy launcher and adjusted artillery fire onto it. After a precise hit, the ammunition detonated, completely destroying the enemy equipment. Visual footage released by the brigade shows a large and dramatic explosion.

"Oh, these fireworks," the Brigade commented, highlighting both the effectiveness of the strike and the spectacular nature of the detonation.
This action demonstrates the high level of skill in target detection and fire adjustment in modern combat conditions. Destroying the Buk-M2 system deprives the enemy of a key medium-range air defense system.
This type of equipment is a critical element of airspace defense and a threat to Ukrainian aircraft and drones, so its elimination enhances the safety of units at the front.
The operation also showcases the effectiveness of coordinated unit actions and the importance of timely reconnaissance and artillery support.
As Defense Express previously reported, the Asgard unit of the Nemesis 412th Regiment successfully destroyed russian 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled artillery system, according to the report. Drones carried out repeated strikes on the gun both during the day and at night, hitting it until the system was completely burned down.
