In November, Poland sent European countries proposals for joint procurement of Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carriers (APCs). Recipients included Finland, where Poles bought the license for these vehicles.
Such information is noted in the Polish Ministry of National Defense's response to a parliamentary inquiry. It indicates similar mass procurement will proceed within the EUs SAFE affordable defense loan program.

Defense Express notes Polish motivation here is easily understood, as this would load and expand their armored vehicle production capacity. It could also ensure certain price reduction, like with Leopard 2A8 tanks in Germany.
However, an interesting point is that Rosomak is a licensed copy of Finnish Patria AMV, making the proposal somewhat strange. Moreover, only in December 2025 was the corresponding production agreement fully extended and finalized, so the proposal to Finland looks odd.

Immediately worth saying: Poland encourages purchasing Rosomak-L (Long) the latest iteration of these armored vehicles. Among other things, it received a 60cm longer hull, more powerful engine, 30-40% larger fuel tanks, new waterjets, and more.
Changes also affected firepower, now provided by the new Polish-made ZSSW-30 turret also installed on Borsuk IFVs. Armament includes a 30mm Mk 44 Bushmaster II cannon, 7.62mm UKM-2000C machine gun, and two launchers for Israeli Spike ATGMs.

On the European market, this could indeed look quite good and truly differs from just a copy, while Finland itself currently has only 80 Patria AMVs in assault and mortar modifications. However, the new AMV XP iteration has already been developed, becoming even better protected and more powerful, already ordered and localized by Japan.
Also worth remembering: smaller and significantly cheaper Patria 6x6 APCs are now gaining popularity in Europe. Although they have somewhat inferior characteristics and usually come without gun modules, this is compensated by mass production, localization, and production rates, thanks to which even Ukraine received them quickly.
