According to him, these systems use different missiles: against ballistic missiles, aerodynamic targets, etc. In particular, they can shoot down the S-300, because they are launched along a ballistic trajectory.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command reminded that Mykola Oleshchuk, the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had already checked the combat positions of the Patriot air defense system in one of the sectors and thanked the anti-aircraft gunners who completed the training much earlier than planned.

As reported, on April 18, Germany handed over the Patriot air defense system with missiles to Ukraine. Defense Express wrote on What Could It Change in Ukrainian War and How Many More Needed.
