On November 16, a dangerous leak occurred at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. This is the second incident in just three days, highlighting the growing instability at the facility under russian control, SPRAVDI reports.
The russians have replaced the experienced Ukrainian staff with their own untrained personnel, resulting in a drastic decline in safety standards and operational efficiency. These reckless actions have put the plant at grave risk of a catastrophic nuclear accident.

The only way to avert a disaster is to immediately remove the russians from the Zaporizhzhia NPP and restore Ukrainian control. The presence of russian forces at the plant poses an unacceptable threat to the safety of Ukraine, Europe and the entire world.
International organizations, particularly the International Atomic Energy Agency, must act swiftly to pressure russia to withdraw from the Zaporizhzhia NPP and allow for the resumption of safe operations under Ukrainian supervision. The consequences of inaction are far too serious to contemplate.
