"In one day, our Air Force delivered 13 strikes on the invaders’ manpower and equipment clusters, while missile and artillery units hit an ammunition depot," the General Staff said.

It is reported that throughout the day, Russian troops carried out 24 airstrikes on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and three missile strikes on Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, and Zaporizhia. As a result of the terrorist act, residential buildings were damaged and civilians were killed and wounded.
Also, the enemy carried out over 55 strikes using MLR systems, including on the civilian infrastructure of Ulanov, Sumy region.
The General Staff emphasizes that the threat of further missile strikes remains high throughout the territory of Ukraine.
According to the update, the operational situation has undergone no significant changes in the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshyna directions: the enemy keeps its units near the state border of Ukraine and continues fortifying their positions. No signs of an offensive grouping being formed were detected.
In the past day, the Russians fired mortars and artillery at Ryzhivka, Khotyn, Stetskivka, and Slavhorod of Sumy region, as well as at the districts of 15 settlements of Kharkiv region, including Krasne, Hlyboke, Vesele, Vovchansk, Ohirtseve, and Strelecha.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the Russians conducted a number of unsuccessful offensives near Bilohorivka and Kreminna, Luhansk region, as well as Spirne, Donetsk region.
In the same directions, the invaders’ artillery shelled the areas of 17 settlements, including Dvorichne, Lyman Pershyi, Petropavlivka, and Kupiansk of Kharkiv region, Makiivka and Kreminna of Luhansk region, as well as Rozdolivka of Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, Russian troops continue their offensive, storming the town of Bakhmut.
"Our defenders repelled attacks in the areas of Bakhmut, Khromov and Ivanivske settlements of Donetsk region. Vasyukivka, Zaliznianske, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, Diliivka, Mayorsk, and New York came under enemy fire," the General Staff reported.
The Russian army continues to attack the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. The invaders saw no success in their offensives toward Kamianka, Severna, and Maryinka of Donetsk region.
Areas of 15 settlements, including Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, and Vuhledar, were hit by enemy shelling.
In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive, in some areas pursuing attempts to create conditions for the transition to the offensive.
Areas of more than 40 settlements were affected by enemy artillery strikes, including Novosilka and Vremivka in Donetsk region, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Kherson, Vesele, Beryslav, Chornobayivka, and Antonivka in Kherson region.
It was established that in a number of schools in the temporarily captured territories of Kherson region, starting from the first grade, the invaders introduced mandatory "cadet classes", where students are required to wear a uniform and have additional classes on "patriotic" education.
Due to the shortage of teachers, pro-Russian local residents without pedagogical education are hired. Mostly they are over 50 years old. For legalization, in accordance with Russian legislation, they are automatically enrolled in correspondence education at Russia’s specialized higher educational facilities.
In the temporarily captured territories of Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, the Russians intensified filtration measures. In particular, operatives with the Federal Security Service arrived in Pishchanivka and Poima of Kherson region. Mass searches of residential premises and mobile phone checks are carried out in populated areas. The invaders focus the most on those whose relatives fled for the territory controlled by Ukraine.
