Ukrainian forces have carried out a series of coordinated strikes against russian military positions in the rear areas of temporarily occupied Luhansk region. The operation, confirmed by Ukraine's Security Service, targeted multiple locations used by russian troops for basing and logistics support.
According to official information, the strikes were conducted jointly by the Security Service personnel and units of the Armed Forces, including the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center and border guard units.

The attacks focused on several settlements, including Luhansk city, Bilovodsk, and the village of Shulhynka. In these locations, buildings used to house russian personnel were hit, indicating an effort to disrupt troop accommodation and staging areas behind the front line.
Another key strike took place in the area of Rudove in the Svatove district. There, Ukrainian forces reportedly destroyed concentrations of manpower along with ammunition depots, pointing to a dual objective of reducing both personnel and logistical capacity.
A critical component of the operation was the preliminary identification of targets. Ukrainian operatives conducted reconnaissance to locate and verify russian positions before strike assets were deployed. This intelligence-led approach increases the effectiveness and precision of Ukrainian drone operations.
For the strikes themselves, Ukrainian forces employed FP-2 drones alongside other domestically developed unmanned aerial systems. The use of such platforms reflects Ukraine's growing reliance on scalable drone capabilities to reach targets deep in the enemy's operational rear.
These types of strikes are designed not only to inflict immediate losses but also to systematically erode russian combat potential. By targeting rear-area infrastructure and personnel concentrations, Ukraine aims to complicate logistics, reduce reserves, and limit the enemy's ability to sustain offensive operations at the front.
