The Plastun-SN (SN stands for "special purpose" in russian) is based on the Plastun civilian all-terrain vehicle with the same name, which the occupiers adapted for military needs. It is known that there are two versions of such all-terrain vehicles in the "military version", a vehicle with an 82-mm mortar and a reconnaissance vehicle with an optical-electronic station. In addition, this all-terrain vehicle can be used to evacuate the wounded.

The russians report that this all-terrain vehicle is supposed to be able to withstand the impact of 7.62 mm bullets. The peculiarity of this all-terrain vehicle is that it does not have a hard roof - its role, if necessary, is played by an ordinary awning.
