On the night of September 14, Ukrainian kamikaze drones carried out a successful attack on targets in the Yevpatoriia area in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Despite the russian Ministry of Defense’s claim that all 11 drones were destroyed, videos from the scene suggest that the attack was indeed successful.
In our previous article, we took a look at several hypotheses regarding the intended target. Now there is first information about the results of the strike. Ukrainian media Suspilne and Ukrainska Pravda report that the operation was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy, citing sources in the SSU. According to the outlets, one S-400 Triumf was put out of order, including its radars; there is also a claim that besides the UAVs, a remodeled Neptun missile was involved in the attack.

First, there was a wave of drones that "blinded" the S-400 by destroying its radars and antennas, and then two cruise missiles did the main job. The source says, this is not the last time and "more surprises" to come for the russian occupiers on Crimea in the future.
Defense Express reminds that this is not the first time either. Earlier, an S-400 launcher and a few nearby vehicles were eliminated on Cape Tarkhankut in the Western part of Crimea, about 60 km from the reported site of today's attack. In that case, too, there were suggestions that a Neptun missile modified for on-land attacks was deployed. However, the existence of this weapon still remains unconfirmed by Ukrainian officials.
