Regardless the origin any enemy tank is fated to be destroyed by Ukrainian fighters with NLAW and Javelin, explosions and turrets throwing are inevitable

According to General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of April 28, during the 64 days of war against Ukraine the occupiers have already lost 970 tanks.

To realize how heavy these losses are, Defense Express shows in comparison: according to the Military Balance, the russian army had 2840 tanks at the end of 2021, so the occupiers have already lost one third of the existing main battle tanks. So, it’s logical that in order to recoup their losses, Russians are forced to take heavy armor from warehouses located as far as the Urals.

The enemy has withdrawn from storage 100 units of T-80 stationed on the territory of the Central Military District 225th base for storage and repair of military equipment, which is located in the Siberian city of Omsk, Defense Express states siting own sources.

It may look quite threatening from the first sight to remove 100 tanks from storage at one base.

But on the other hand, 100 units of T-80 won’t cover the existing russia’s losses anyhow. Oryx portal states that as of now russia’s army has lost at least 110 units of T-80 tanks of all modifications.

Before the war Russia claimed to have 10 000 tanks in storage, including 3 000 units of T-80 of different modifications. However, we all now already how they're actually stored.

For instance, the enemy uses unusual technology to store their “one-of-a-kind” armament: turrets and tank bodies separately, which makes these combat vehicles incapable of combat.

Consequently, Defense Express states that russia doesn’t obtain 3 000 units of T-80 tanks, which could be used on the battlefield.

If we take 970 already destroyed enemy tanks and divide them by 64 days of war, we get on average 15 destroyed russia’s tanks per day. Accordingly, these 100 units of Siberian tanks will be enough for not more than a week of combat use against the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Especially taking into account their features: fuel tanks are too big, the fuel is flammable and too specific laying of shells make

T-80 tanks burn like matches.

And Ukraine’s fighters having in service NLAW and Javelin are ready to hold a "championship" in "throwing towers" of russian army tanks.
