President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine has obtained confirmed intelligence showing the People’​s Republic of China is supplying weapons, including artillery and gunpowder, to the russian federation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that Ukraine has secured concrete evidence of weapons deliveries from the People’s Republic of China to the russian federation. The announcement marks the first time Kyiv has publicly confirmed Beijing’s direct involvement in bolstering russia’s war effort.

“This is important information, though not very pleasant, we have finally received confirmation that China is supplying weapons to the russian federation,” Volodymyr Zelensky stated, underscoring the gravity of the development for Ukraine’s defense and for international security.

Moreover, Volodymyr Zelenskyy hinted at further revelations next week concerning the presence of Chinese personnel on russian soil.

“We’ll be able to provide more detailed information next week, particularly regarding data suggesting that Chinese representatives are involved in the production of certain weapons on russian territory,” he noted. If confirmed, such on‑site collaboration would represent an even deeper level of cooperation between Moscow and Beijing, potentially altering the strategic landscape of the war in Ukraine.
