Russia supplied China with problematic Su-35 fighter jets. This information was made public by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov, during a briefing at the Ukrinform Media Center.
As Gromov reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, only 9 of the 24 units that russia delivered to China were operational. At the same time, the largest number of problems with these aircraft were related to their on-board systems.

Defense Express reminds that this contract was concluded in 2015 for the supply of 24 Su-35 fighter jets worth 2.5 billion dollars to China. China received the first four aircraft in 2016, another 10 next year, and the same number in 2018.
In addition, Gromov also said that russians are actively losing their Su-35s in Ukraine: since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation into Ukraine, the enemy’s military has lost two squadrons of these fighters.
At the same time, russia also keeps loosing Su-35 buyers. For example, in January Algeria refused to purchase these aircraft due to questions about the effectiveness of the onboard radar.
In addition, in February Indonesia finally abandoned the Russian Su-35S and chose the French Rafale.
