During the telethon, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov announced some important aspects of the transfer of Western weapons to Ukraine.
First of all, Ukrainian artillery, thanks to the first stage of the transition to NATO calibers, was able to avoid lack of projectiles. As of now, stocks of Soviet shells in warehouses in Europe have reached the bottom.

"Taking into account the fact that the war has been going on for a considerable period of time and a large number of 152-mm and 122-mm projectiles are used every day, the projectiles of these calibers have almost run out in Europe. If not to say that they have already finished. Our country is moving to NATO standards shells, this is a very important thing," said Oleksiy Danilov.
Defense Express notes that this transition to 155-mm artillery made it possible to avoid projectile starvation. And the strategy of the Kremlin, which claimed that the terms of completion of Soviet calibers in Ukraine and even in Europe are measured in just a few months, becomes quite understandable. Apparently, the enemy didn’t take into account the possibility of quick obtaining NATO artillery.
Oleksiy Danilov also answered a question that worries society quite a lot: when Ukraine eventually receives ATACMS ballistic missiles that can be launched from the HIMARS and M270 missile systems.
"As for HIMARS, there is a certain understanding that we have already begun to receive projectiles that are shot much further than they were at the beginning. And we will hope that ammunition with the range we need will soon appear on the territory of our country," said Oleksiy Danilov.
He also noted that thanks to the acquisition of Western weapons, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already achieved a certain parity with the Russian army, and the upcoming Ramstein-4 meeting is expected to result in a de facto transition from parity to superiority of the Ukrainian army on the battlefield. Considering that the process of arming Ukraine is continuing 24/7 with a permanent air bridge organized by allied states.
