After almost a year of delay, the Netherlands finally ordered German Skyranger 30 drone killers from Rheinmetall. And they will come not only on the ACSV G5 tracked chassis from FFG, but also in stationary variant.
Air defense system deliveries should begin at the end of 2028 and continue until the end of 2029. The order volume is not named, nor is the exact contract price, but it's stated that we're talking about a high three-digit number of million euros, meaning most likely over 500-600 million euros.

Recall that Netherlands' plans to purchase Skyranger 30 on ACSV G5 chassis became known at the beginning of 2025. Then the quantity was specified as up to 22 units, and agreement signing was planned in the near future, which didn't happen.
A battery of four guns whether stationary Skynex used in Ukraine or Skyranger on chassis according to Rheinmetall estimates costs 60 million euros. That is, the Dutch order may include up to 10-14 systems in such composition.

It's worth noting that we don't know the full configuration or complex composition in the Netherlands contract, so the specified quantity is an assumption. It's also worth remembering that there will be additional costs, such as for deploying infrastructure.
However, it's reported that the deal includes integration into the countrys air defense architecture, training simulators, logistics, tactical-level control nodes, and transport platforms with hook loader for purely stationary deployment. That is, quite a standard order with everything needed.

New 30mm air defense guns will strengthen previously ordered medium and short-range air defense means. Of the latter, one can recall the NOMAD air defense system, which is based on the same ACSV G5 tracked chassis, providing good unification.
Besides the Netherlands, Skyranger 30 is ordered for Germany, Denmark, Austria, and Hungary with other potential buyers. In parallel, the 35mm variant Skyranger 35 is also produced, whichon Leopard 1 tank chassis is being supplied to Ukraine.
