The largest contract for 56 million pounds ($71.5 million) was signed by the UK MoD with the Norwegian defense company Kongsberg. It provides for the provision of anti-drone systems that Ukraine will be able to use to detect, track, destroy and disrupt the operation of Russian UAVs.

Among other things, this includes the CORTEX Typhon system, the supply of which the Norwegian manufacturer announced earlier this week.
The other two deals also relate to air defense, but the British MoD did not provide more specific details about them.
It is noted that the agreements were concluded within the framework of the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU), which has so far raised more than £770 million to provide lethal and non-lethal military support to Ukraine.
The IFU is a funding mechanism that uses financial contributions from international partners to procure priority military assistance for Ukraine at pace. This will ensure the continued supply of military support – lethal and non-lethal – to Ukraine through 2023 and beyond.
The Fund is administered by the UK Ministry of Defense on behalf of an Executive Panel, comprising the UK, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. These partners, along with Iceland and Lithuania, have contributed a collective total of more than £770 million to the Fund to date.
