An area of more than 10 hectares was surveyed and cleared by demining specialists of the Command of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on its official account on Facebook.
According to the report, the range of explosive devices used by the enemy is extremely diverse: regular non-explosive munitions, anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, improvised explosive devices. The enemy uses anything to install these devices to - from children's toys and household appliances to cars and living quarters.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces ststes, demining in such difficult conditions requires a sapper of high professionalism and experience. Demining specialists of the Command of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are involved in clearing the area of explosives.
Dog searches are also involved in the search for explosive devices. They work in the field, which allows to search different for explosive devices with a help of mine-detection dogs.
Currently, sappers are working almost daily on demining of the Kyiv region. There is still a lot of work to be done, the General Staff of the Armed Forces states.
It also warns citizens of Kyiv to be careful, because there are ‘still enough Russian "gifts" around and they can be anywhere.’
Defense Express reported that in the past 24 hours, six enemy attacks have been repulsed in Donetsk and Luhansk, four tanks, five artillery systems, thirteen units of armoured vehicles, fifteen units of motor vehicles, two tankers and one anti-aircraft gun have been destroyed.
