The occupiers are trying to invent something new, as their Pantsir anti-aircraft weapons do not work properly

Recently a new video has appeared on the internet of two unusual ships in the sea, they were in the direct line of sight of vacationers on the beaches.

In the right corner the 109-year-old Kommuna rescue ship, which was used in the attempt of russians to retrieve secret documents and P-1000 missiles from the sunken Moskva cruiser in April 2022.

The Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation has two project 1239 Syvuch missile ships, named Bora and Samum, they were commissioned in 1989 and 2000.

This very fact is one of the reasons of pride for the Kremlin propagandists: they say that no one in the world has a ship that can carry as many as eight anti-ship missiles and develop a speed of up to 45 knots per hour with a displacement of only 1,000 tons and a hull length of 69 meters.

However, such ships turned out to be redundant for the Rrussians in the war against Ukraine. In open sources we can find only a scant mention of the fact that in the first days of the war, the coastal defense of the Ukrainian Navy damaged one of the ships of project 1239, without further details of this episode.

Also, a photo by Krym. Realii, published on May 8, 2022, showed russians taking one of their hovercraft missile carriers being towed to sea.

Theoretically, project 1239 missile ships have a fairly powerful short-range anti-aircraft defense, namely one 76 mm AK-176 gun mount, two AK-630 six-barreled gun mounts and two Osa air defense missile launchers with 20 missiles in reserve. Therefore, it seems that the command of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation decided to use one of the ships of this type as a kind of "floating anti-aircraft defense battery", the task of it is to shoot from whatever they have once they detect a UAV.
