As the proof that Shahed-136 is not an Iranian kamikaze drone, they talk about the inscription "Geran-2" on it and issue ultimatums to the UN

The question of the origin of Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones turned out to be more painful for the Kremlin than it seemed at first glance. The fact is that russia has threatened to "review relations" with the UN in case the organization conducts an investigation into these barrage ammunition.

This rather strange position was formulated by the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the russian federation at the UN, Dmitry Polyanskyi, who emphasized that russia allegedly does not use drones of foreign origin.

"We hope that the secretariat and the Secretary General himself will not again violate the decisions of the UN Security Council, will not go beyond their technical mandate and will refrain from participating in any illegal investigations. Otherwise, we will have to reassess our cooperation with them, which does not correspond to anyone", russian mass media quote Polyanskyi's words.

Moreover, he rejected the very fact of the Iranian origin of the Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, which the russian federation sometimes labels as Geran-2. And it was this single inscription that he cited as proof that these are allegedly russian-made barrage ammunition: "I don't think that russian is so widely used in Iran."

In this situation, of course, it is not the excuses against the obvious that are strange, but the very fact of not only the denial, but also the ultimate threats. Moreover, Iran itself, despite all the facts, continues to officially deny the supply of drones to the russian federation.

To say more, in addition to the Shahed-136 the Armed Forces of Ukraine got an even more interesting trophy: the Iranian Mohajer-6 reconnaissance-strike UAV with Qaem-5 planning bombs.

It is quite possible that such reaction is connected with the fact that the investigation will reveal several things at once. Firstly, it is possible that the russian federation took part in the creation of the Shahed-136 and other weapons, including missile technologies, over the years.

Secondly, the issue of how russia pays off to Iran for kamikaze drones remains unresolved. There are only assumptions that 24 Su-35SE aircraft were an exchange coin. But it is quite possible that there is much deeper cooperation in the provision of nuclear technology and ready-made components for the creation of weapons of mass destruction.
