The Russian occupying forces did not manage to destroy any HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system in service with the Armed Forces. This information was announced by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army General Mark Milley.
“To date, those systems have not been eliminated by the Russians and I knock on wood every time I say something like that.And they're being very effective at using them, employing precision weapons against targets”, General Milley says.

However, he also noted that currently the main problem with these MLRS is not so much the number of launchers, but the number of munitions fired from HIMARS.
“We are looking at all of that very, very carefully on a day-to-day basis.We advised the secretary where we think the levels of risk are to our own force in terms of our readiness and capability and our equipment”, Milley explains.
At the same time, he notes that “We think we're OK right now” and “we project forward into the next month or two or three, we think we're going to be OK.And we also are tied in very, very closely through the DepSecDef with the industrial base and the production management techniques that we have to continue to produce those weapons systems”.
Defense Express reminds that earlier occupiers were allegedly planning to film a fake story about the destroyed HIMARS. The filming is to take place in Belarus, the main "character" of the story is a fake model brought from russia.
