After the stories about 44 destroyed wooden HIMARS and mythical M2 Bradley, russia’s Ministry of Defense demonstrated their vision of the operational situation at the front in the Kharkiv Oblast.
According to it, russians have already left the occupied settlements north of Kharkiv itself and the entire territory of the region east to the Oskol river.

Such a scenario was predicted by Defense Express. The fact is that two more tributaries of the Siverskyi Donets are located to the east of this water obstacle in succession along the "North-South" axis: Zherebets and Krasna.
Taking into account the classical construction of defense along the water obstacles, it is possible to predict the intention of russians to create three lines on the left banks of the three rivers.
Under these conditions, the main logistical routes for the occupiers are the route P-66 Urazovo (on the territory of the russian federation) - Troitske - Svatove, H-26 Chortkovo (rus) - Bilovodsk - Starobilsk - Svatove, H-21 Luhansk - Staroblilsk. And also the railway section Urazovo - Troitske - Starobilsk.
Taking this into account, Svatovo itself can claim the role of a new defense center, but the fact is that the distance to it from the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the western bank of Oskol is 50 km. Also, there’s an important Troitske settlement at a similar distance, where the road R-66 and the railway line intersect. A logical alternative, more distant hub is Starobilsk, 100 km from Oskol.
